Plan
Situation-

family are going to lose their expensive house. The can no longer afford it
because the mother has lost her job due to alcohol problems. The father started
seeing someone else.

Feelings – disgusted as she remembers the smell of her alcoholic mother.
Ivy (Sienna’s
Sister):
Wearing - an expensive dress found in the wardrobe.
Props – the expensive dress.
Feelings – distress because she knows he father cheated.
Father:
Wearing - expensive shoes and suit.
Props – wedding ring and cologne.
Feelings – he is leaving to meet someone.
She twisted the lid, and drizzled
the half full litre bottle of Bacardi down the sink, being careful to avoid
splashing the lavish marble surfaces. Just recalling the flooding stench of
sterile distilled spirits managed to coat her molars with acidic vomit. It was
London’s frostiest October, but Sienna insisted on braving bare legs and a strip
of taut watery denim acting as a skirt. Looking ahead of her, she could almost
see the cruel, aching images of her mother leaning over the balcony drenched in
her own vile intoxicating insides.
Meanwhile, in the main bathroom, the
essence of pungent aromatic Amouage Interlude could not conquer last night’s bitter
air. Austin tossed the empty cologne bottle against the wall. The mesmerizing fragments performed polished pirouettes
as they fell with finery, yet like snow in an avalanche, they could be ruthless.
No part of his family remained sturdy other than the overused hoary silver
Austin twisted and removed from his ring finger.
‘I’m going out girls’ he called
as he reached for his Barbour jacket and left the house.
Ivy’s whole body flinched as the front
door slowly but violently came to a shut. She stood in front of the mirror; releasing
the laced champagne stained gown from its original folded formation allowing its
true elegance to shine. Every detail bloomed with astonishing beauty but could
not camouflage the arising aching sensation that began to shadow over the love she
felt for her father as well as she hoped it would. Faded memories of last night
collided with the inside of her head like a swaying mallet. When her head leant
up against the edge of the wall and howled as she watched her mother gather her
things and stumble through the door.
